The Conference Banquet on November 19 will be held on the large-sized event boat ”Rákóczi”, which was built in 1964.

The ”Rákóczi”anchored near the Hungarian Academy of Science, has a capacity of 400 and hosts conferences, protocol and private events, receptions held by business enterprises, and their partners and optional programs. The boat received a new look in more than one way in 2006.

The boat, which shares the blue and white exterior customary in MAHART passnave fleet, obtained new parquet flooring, a sound system and lighting fixtures installed on its entire deck. The interior space was enlarged by removing several walls and using the extra space to install a buffet table and a bar. In addition to the floor, the walls and ceiling of the ”Rákóczi” have also been fitted with new covering. The interior is heavily influenced by the color of wood, with all other draperies on the boat matching that color. The two decks of the boat, each with fully configurable seating, are available all year round regardless of weather.

During the Banquet the Rákóczi boat will sail a circle on the Danube around the Margaret island and will go as far as to the National Theatre. During this route the view of the night lights of Budapest and the beauty of the lights of the Hungarian Parlament, Chain bridge, Buda castle, Gellért hill and the National Theatre can be admired.
